The Business Alliance, a McLean-based networking and education organization aimed at entrepreneurs and early-stage companies in the region, has selected seven companies to present at next month’s Grubstake Breakfast.
The investor forum is set for June 10 in McLean. Presenters, each seeking $250,000-$2 million in investment capital, include:
2 Comma Sales, Rockville, MD
The company provides three types of sales tools for large enterprises with complex sales processes.
AccuStrata, College Park, MD
Their product is an intelligent, real-time optical control system that is able to improve thin-film photovoltaic (solar cell) manufacturing, resulting in higher conversion efficiency and reduced cost.
AFrame Digital, Reston, VA
The company is a provider of mobile, intelligent, cost-effective, health monitoring and alerting systems for multi-resident care settings, outpatient, and military outpatient care settings. They emphasize ease of use and leverage the ubiquity of the Internet and other public networks to securely deliver real time alerts and health information.
Optoro, Lanham, MD
The company optimizes the asset recovery process for retailers, manufacturers, and 3rd party providers by addressing three of their central concerns: Value, Velocity, and Visibility.

The company provides advice on choosing the right senior care community.
ClicFlic Interactive Videos, Vienna, VA
They help companies and individuals to create interactive videos that deliver a more targeted message and a more engaging experience
Ringio, Herndon, VA

In a nutshell, they bring the big phone features to small-mid sized businesses. Their core product is a SaaS delivering call-center (translation: cloud based services) that intelligently routes calls to any phone in the world along with relevant information about the caller – making conversations with the people that matter more meaningful and productive.
