Washington, D.C. Named the Best City For Vegetarians

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) named the most vegetarian friendly cities in North America. Topping the list is our nation’s capital Washington D.C.

Portland Oregon came in second place. Albuquerque New Mexico was the third most veg friendly city followed by Atlanta Ga.

Seattle Washington, Vancouver British Columbia Canada, San Francisco California, Los Angeles California, New York New York, and Toronto Ontario Canada round out the top ten cities for vegetarians.

If you are not in a big city, then PETA named the top ten small cities which included Olympia Washington, Burlington Vermont, Iowa City Iowa, Bloomington Indiana, Syracuse New York, Topeka Kansas, Worcester Massachusetts, Lincoln Nebraska, Providence Rhode Island, and Boise Idaho.
