Zuckerberg and his super-geek-to-billionaire story is the basis of the hit movie The Social Network. “Young people are just smarter,” he told a Stanford University audience in 2007. Starbucks is fast becoming a major digital player and it boost with millions of customers. Starting today, Starbucks customers who use the free Wi-fi at more than 6,800 U.S. company-operated stores will be greeted with the Starbucks Digital Network (SDN). Starbucks announced the launch of its Starbucks Digital Network (SDN), a joint venture with Yahoo that will offer news, entertainment and lifestyle content for free exclusively in Starbucks stores.

2 Billion Internet Users By the end of 2010

The number of Internet users will surpass 2 billion before the end of 2010, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) said in a report.

The current world population is estimated by the U.S. Census Bureau to be 6.876 billion, which would mean that approximately 30% of the population will be online at the end of this year.

There will be 226 million new Internet users this year, 162 million of which will be from the developing countries. Despite the fast growth of Internet users there, the developing countries still have a long way to go to catch up with the developed world. Read more of this post

Anna Chapman appears to be the spy making the most out of her overnight celebrity following her arrest and ultimate deportation for her part in a Russian spy ring.

A scantily clad Chapman, 28, is featured on next month’s cover of Russian’s edition of Maxim magazine, editors revealed yesterday.

The red-headed spy dons black lingerie, diamond earrings, a silver automatic and a coy yet sexy smile.

In the issue, Chapman is billed as “the world-famous red-headed spy, the mysterious debutante from our list of the country’s 100 sexiest women.”

Since posting a behind-the-scenes video of Chapman’s tongue wagging photoshoot on their site, Maximonline.ru has reportedly crashed several times, a result of high volumes of traffic. Read more of this post
