The Ongoing Blaming Game

The best of The Daily show for this week was their Tuesday night segment when Jon Stewart had some fun at the expense of “Fox & Friends” who much to his delight, apparently watches his show.

Stewart pointed out that blaming a previous administration is nothing new, but often there are limitations as to how long into one’s presidency it can be done. Something that apparently Republicans ignored during Bush administration, as they blamed Clinton over and over again.

Bringing the hypocrisy full circle, Stewart played a clip from “Fox and Friends” from just two weeks ago where they blamed Clinton policies for the oil spills, prompting Stewart to ask, “Do you realize that this sh-t is being broadcast?” Read more of this post

Is Hulu killing Netflix? $10-per-Month for Hulu Plus

Hulu, the video portal joint venture between News Corp., NBC Universal and Disney launched a preview of Hulu Plus, a $9.99-per-month subscription service that will offer full current seasons of TV programs from ABC, Fox and NBC across a range of devices – but is it worth paying a monthly fee?

For $9.99 per month, you’ll get entire series and seasons in high definition, whereas most shows have up to this point only been available a few episodes at a time in standard definition. You’ll also have the option of streaming those episodes on a bunch of new devices, including the iPhone, iPad, PlayStation 3 and select Samsung TVs and Blu)-ray players – and, possibly more later. Jon Stewart And Glenn Beck Connection – Conservative Libertarian

by Elias Shams
The best of The Daily Show this week was the one on Thursday night. Jon Stewart made it official that Glenn Beck is not a joke anymore and now important and influential. Jon went all-in on with a whopping 15-minute parody of the Fox News host. This was unbelievably funny, and pretty well done. When Stewart took “Arian” from “Libertarian” and asked, “Why an “i” instead of a “y”? Why, indeed?

Frankly, my problem isn’t in that Glenn Beck gets ratings or has followers. It is in the method he uses and how many people that “follow” him don’t realize that his show is opinion posing as information. My comment is based on several people/friends I know who just love this guy and constantly spout things he says.

Stewart Vs Fox Over Final Push For Healthcare Reform

by Elias Shams
The best of  Jon Stewart for this week was his  Thursday night program when he took on Fox News‘ reporting on the March 9 health care reform protests outside the Ritz Carlton in Washington, D.C. He calls out a Fox News host’s commentary and stops to think: “Fox News might be the meanest sorority in the world.”

Stewart pointed out that Fox News depicted the peaceful protests as a Tehran-esque mob, getting ready to storm the gates of the Ritz Carlton to get their point across. But upon further inspection of the blurry footage, he found members of this group included a women in a wheelchair. read more…

The Best Of Jon Stewart This Week

by Elias Shams
His best for this week wasn’t actually from his show, but from his Big Poppa Bear rival, Bill O’Reilly during his visit to Fox. It was indeed the big showdown, the media equivalent of Ali vs. Frazier. At one point, O’Reilly reached out with one of his long arms, pointing a finger at his adversary, Stewart recoiled, practically curling up in a ball, saying “God, you’ve got Ali’s reach!”

Jon riped Bill literally over every issue.  My favorite part was when Jon gave few examples of socialism and comparing fox’s comment about President Obama and Bush during the War time. Overall, I think Jon totally nailed the entire fox over their hypocrisy. Read more…

The Best Of Jon Stewart And Bill Maher This Week

Jon Stewart had such an awesome fun with Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin, and so DID we :-) In this clip from The Daily Show, Stewart mocked Beck for his journal entries on Palin, and compared the two to ‘The Silence of the Lambs. I found it hilarious to see Glenn Beck did the interview in the shadow of the Statue of Liberty, a gift from Socialist France :-) , a country in “old Europe”. :-)

You won’t miss how Sarah Palin was totally creeped out by Beck’s slavish lackyness! I got the feeling Palin didn’t really know who he was outside of the name recognition, and spent most of the hour staring at Beck’s fresh hair. Palin also looking like she smells something really, really bad.

Those of you still blaming the Left for Palin’s ineptitude, you got to check out this clip of Palin unable to name her favorite Founding Father? Even the conservatives expressing doubts about her. Here is another source from Christian Science Monitor.

Here is a classic proof of her stupidity. Could a person be more inept than this on national television? This incredibly stupid moment was not unlike the so-called gotcha moment with Couric when Palin couldn’t name what she reads. Only this gotcha moment came from a so-called “team” member at Fox News!

Anyway, I think this is awesome News for our country and the world. Palin candidacy as the vice president, he took down McCain, and now her contribution to Fox will shut down Fox for good soon :-)

And, here is Bill Maher explained why we should move your money out of a “too big to fail” bank and put it into a local community bank or credit union. According to Maher: “This is not a conservative idea or a liberal idea. It’s not left or right. It’s populism at its best.”
