Rhythm Road: American Music Abroad 2010


Jazz at Lincoln Center and the U.S. Department of State’s  Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs have once again organized a set of  FREE concerts available in Washington D.C. The performances will cover a variety of genres including jazz, gospel, hip-hop, blues, bluegrass, and Americana/pop. The musicians performing will also be traveling for the spring and summer to countries not regularly visited by American musicians. Celebrating Haiti in Station 9

Next month, Station 9 will open it’s doors to anyone with a love of music, dancing, and drinking for one of the biggest parties in Washington DC this Spring.

FaiBien, a DC-based non-profit dedicated to the people of Haiti, will throw a fundraiser for over 600 people to help rebuild schools and jump start education in Haiti following the 2010 earthquake.
