This exciting and challenging position will provide Dataprise with the next generation of new tools and technologies to carry out our evolving mission. The successful candidate will lead all efforts in designing, creating, and implementing our level of proprietary client management systems as well as working with stakeholders to ensure product acceptance For consideration, candidates must at a minimum possess: 10 years developing Microsoft-based web technologies including Visual Studio, VSS, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, significant experience developing AJAX enabled web sites, fluency in XML/XHTML/HTML, JavaScript, CSS, demonstrated experience designing mission critical data driven n-tier systems including life-cycle methodologies, excellent knowledge of SQL and Microsoft SQL Server including live system deployment, significant experience in legacy Microsoft VBA technologies especially Microsoft Access development, outstanding oral and written communication skills, BS Degree in Computer Science or related discipline. Germans and Frenchies Move their Headquarters to DC Area

Indeed President Obama’s passion for the green environment has generated a lot of buzz and excitement internationally. Montgomery County of Maryland just scored two energy company headquarters.

Smart Fuel Cell, based in Germany, moved its North American headquarters to Rockville, MD, and Paris-based power company EDF will move its U.S. headquarters to Chevy Chase, MD in the fall. read more…

Is XO Bringing Their Old LMDS Back To Life?

XO Communications made an announcement yesterday about the expansion of their  broadband wireless coverage across the Washington, D.C., region with the deployment of a new wireless hub in the Tysons Corner area.  According to the release, the DC expansion is targeted at businesses and enterprises seeking either connectivity or redundancy from 10Mbps to 1Gbps anywhere in the DC metro area, roughly in a polygon bounded by Dulles International Airport, Lanham MD, Rockville and Beltsville MD, and Mount Vernon, Virginia.

I was under the impression they have had the Fixed Wireless present in DC – Northern VA markets for quite some time. Why another announcement? What’s new? read more…
