June 2010 sets warmth record in Washington D.C.


Although, past two days, it has been really cool for July in Washington, D.C. area, June 2010 finished as the warmest on record for D.C.  With an average temperature of 80.6 degrees, we surpassed the old June record by over a degree, making it the warmest June since records began in 1871.

The top 15 warmest Junes on record since 1871 in Washington, D.C. 2010 set a new record by a significant margin.
