Thanks NPR! It was about time you guys give me an app for my Android

The D.C based NPR (National Public Radio) launched a new version of its mobile website which looks just like the one previously made for the iPhone app. The difference is no need for download.

I did a little bit more digging about them today. Wow! I didn’t know they have the fourth most popular news app in the iTunes store in the U.S. Good for them.
They already have a native iPhone application called NPR Addict that brings your favorite NPR programming to your iPhone/iPod Touch on demand.

You can use the Search page to find stations near you, or to find stories containing the keywords you choose. Queries are sent directly to NPR’s web services, providing you with up-to-date results, sorted by date.
