Independence Day Fireworks on the Potomac boarding At Georgetown



4th of July is only a few weeks away and ICDC is gearing up to organize another one of their awesome event in a two-hour cruise from the Georgetown waterfront. Watching the fireworks from the Potomac River is a truly unforgettable and magical experience.

The cruise will depart from Georgetown while the sun starts to set and as the Washington nightlife comes to life at a distance, you can socialize, make new friends, and enjoy the views before returning back to the dock at the conclusion of our 2 hour cruise.

Some of the monuments you will enjoy from the Potomac River include: The Kennedy Center, Key Bridge,  Memorial Bridge, Roosevelt Island,  Washington Monument,  LBJ Memorial, Jefferson Memorial,  U.S. Capitol,  The Watergate,  Lincoln Memorial,  Maritime Memorial,  Custis-Lee Mansion.

Tentative Agenda

8:00 PM Arrive at the boat and check-in*
8:05 PM SHARP – Boat leaves the dock
10:00 PM Boat arrives at the dock after the fireworks display

When: Sunday, July 04, 2010 at 8:00 PM

Where:
At the end of 31st street NW in Georgetown by the water in Washington, DC 20007. The boat will be docked across from the Riverside Grille on the dock. Allow enough time to find parking and locate the boat. The boat is called the Nightingale.

Several public parking garages are available in the vicinity of the meeting location.

If you are on the boardwalk at Washington Harbor facing the river, our boat will leave from the western-most point (farthest to your right) of the boardwalk.
