Technical Project Manager – Herndon, Va

ePals is the leading social network for K-12 learning. ePals is seeking a Technical Project Manager with experience working in an agile environment supporting ePals production offerings. The successful candidate will have experience working with customer facing web-based applications and services with a focus toward developing online communities. You will interface regularly with cross-functional business units and work closely with the Development, QA, Systems Operations, Support and Product Managers. The role of the Technical Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of ePals team members and customer staff in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Technical Project Manager will also be directly responsible for their own set of deliverables including documentation as well as assigning and tracking of tasks and milestones of all team members. Qualifications for consideration: Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience in a Technical environment. Minimum of 3 years of Software Project Management experience in a web setting.
