Bastille Day at the Embassy of France in Washington, D.C.

Embassy of France cordially request the pleasure of your company for a grand feast of French cuisine, music, culture, art, and wine on the evening of Saturday July 10th. Dance the night away  and celebrate the birth of French democracy and support a worthy cause,  the Bastille Day!

Take an imaginary trip to France as you visit different Parisian “arrondissements” (neighborhoods) throughout the evening. Start your evening with cocktails served at the open bar while perusing art and other luxury items offered at the silent auction.

Chefs from the area’s most prestigious kitchens (Café du Parc/ Willard InterContinental Washington, URBAN Bistrot/Sofitel, Ritz Carlton, La Ferme Restaurant, Bastille Restaurant, and Panorama Bakery) will offer mouth-watering creations. A luscious dessert service (Pâtisserie Poupon and Cacao Fine European Chocolate & Pastry) will follow and open bars will serve a variety of refreshing spirits and soft drinks.

Throughout the evening you will enjoy French cancan music and dancing to the music of singer Simone Marchand (outside under the tent). Our Bastille Day celebration last year sold out.
