Brace Yourself for a New Term: Social Identity

From  social networking to social media to social search, and now social identity?

Courtesy of social optimization platform Gigya, check out how we trust different identities on different social media sites.  The infographic below shows what profile data is available to services after we log in using various online identities.

While I agree with these statistics, it seems perhaps that the people who visit entertainment sites are those who are more likely to use Facebook. And those who visit news sites be more apt to use twitter. So, perhaps there could be some bias in the stats due to individual usage. Just a thought.
