‘The Daily Show’ is coming to Washington, D.C. for Midterms


The Daily show with Jon Stewart is leaving Awesome NYC studio and filming a week of shows in Awesome DC, leading up to the 2010 midterm elections.

The special week of shows, which it is calling “When Grizzlies Attack: The Daily Show Midterm Teapartyganza” will tape from Shakespeare Theatre Company‘s Sidney Harman Hall October 25-28.

When Grizzlies Attack will feature news and analysis on heated races from across the country as well as reports from The Daily Show News Team (Samantha Bee, Wyatt Cenac, Jason Jones, Aasif Mandvi and John Oliver). 

Tickets for the tapings will be only available through the show’s Web Site and not through the STC box office.
