Seven Local Companies On Fortune’s 100 Fastest Growing List

Seven area companies, including several in the technology arena, have landed spots in Fortune magazine’s newly released list of the 100 Fastest Growing Companies.
The winners, based on three-year revenue growth, include:
– Owings Mills-based Medifast (No. 29),
A weight-loss program company developed by a physician. Their program has been recommended by more than 20,000 doctors since 1980.
– Arlington-based Strayer Education (No. 74),

– Dulles-based GeoEye (No. 84),
They have been providing fish-finding services tailored to the unique needs of commercial and sport fishing operations worldwide. Products and services include oceanographic mapping, data visualization and analysis software, vessel tracking, and fishing gear tracing.
– Reston-based NCI (No. 88),
A provider of information technology (IT), engineering, logistics, and professional services and solutions to U.S. Federal Government agencies.
– Bethesda-based Catalyst Health Solutions (No. 96)
They are a full service Pharmacy Benefit Management subsidiary providing effective solutions to manage your pharmacy costs while advancing the highest standards of care.
– and Fairfax-based ManTech International (No. 97).
One of the U.S. government’s providers of innovative technologies and solutions for mission-critical national security programs supporting the Intelligence Community; the Departments of Defense, State, Homeland Security and Justice; the Space Community; and other federal government agencies.
