• Install, configure, administer, and trouble-shoot client/server backups/restores using Veritas NetBackup and Flashbackup

• Support performance tuning and capacity management of backup platform

• Perform Primary on-call duty as required

On on-call shift is required

When they are on shift a pager will be required. They are not to require to carry a pager when they are not on shift. There is no rotation of on call shifts.

IT Web/App Systems Engineer:

The candidate will provide WebLogic, JBOSS and Apache Support to various Applications and Infrastructure teams. Candidate will also be responsible for Production application support and Infrastructure build-outs. In addition, candidate will also manage and maintain the day to day support in non production environments for all application and infrastructure activities relating to Weblogic, JBoss, and Apache technologies. Candidate shall have good experience in WebLogic, Apache Webservers, Unix and Scripting technologies. Candidate shall also be familiar with Autosys, Monitoring, JBoss, etc.

Candidate will need to carry pager and will be put on rotation call for Primary support duties. Candidate shall have good communications and negotiation skills. Experience should include prior Production support experience.
