Bus trip to Rally to Restore Sanity in Washington DC Announced

The Eagle Eye will be sending a bus down to Washington D.C. on Saturday, October 30th to the Rally to Restore Sanity, which is being hosted by Jon Stewart from the Daily Show and Stephen Colbert from the Colbert Report on Comedy Central. Both TV hosts will be making appearances at this rally and over 70,000 people are expected to attend. This will be a unique experience and we are hoping you can come along.


Leave Lock Haven at 7am on Saturday, October 30th for D.C. (4.5 hr trip). Arrive around noon, which is when the rally starts. The rally its self is from 12-3pm. You may explore D.C. until 7pm which is when we plan to leave D.C. to return home.

To sign up-

The cost to cover transportation fees will be $40 a person. (The rally its self is free) You must also complete a liability form which are available in the S.C.C. office on the first floor of the PUB. Please do this as soon as possible, we are asking that all liability forms and money are turned in by next Wednesday, October 27th.

This trip is open to ANYONE, including non-students.

We will be in the Eagle Eye newsroom (Lower Parson’s Union Building) taking submissions at these times:

Thursday (Oct 21st) – 4-7pm

Friday from 11:30-12:30 and 4-5pm,

Monday from 1130-230,

Tuesday from 3-5pm,

Wednesday 1-11pm
