Washington, D.C. Finally Made It To The Forbes 2014 List Of Most Awesome City

After having lived and worked in many popular cities including Tehran, Shiraz, Paris, London, Bonn, Alicante, Los Angeles, Miami, and Washington, D.C., I found DC as one of the most awesome and coolest city in America. That’s why back in 2009, I launched my D.C. based blog awesomeDC.com with the intention of showing the world Washington, DC is much more than just Politics, corruption, and scandals. I have been covering everything in awesome DC, with the focus on the technology, start ups,  parties, clubs, events, and of course the awesome Washingtonians, specially, the gorgeous and model looking women of DC 🙂

Well! that was my mission back in 2009. I think we are just about to hit the bull’s eye 🙂 Thanks to you, awesome Washingtonians for your continuous support of our awesomedc blog and awesomize.me social media platform, our Washington, D.C.  just made it to the Forbes 2014 List of America’s most awesome and coolest cities in our good old US of A! yeeaahhh!!!

This is not the first time Forbes is spoiling us with such an honor. They gave us similar love back in 2013 when they nominated DC as No.1 on Forbes List Of America’s New Tech Hotspots, and in early 2000, they nominated my first D.C. based startup, telezoo.com as top 5 telecom social network  in the world  way before Linkedin, myspace, facebook, and Google+ of the world 🙂

That said,  I did my part!  I need you my awesome Washingtonians to return a small favor which also benefits you and your business too.

As many of you already know, I had been battling with 4 lymphoma cancer for the past 4 years till six months ago! I barely managed to blog about my  first cancer case hoping to save as many as you people I could before I leave this world. Fortunately, it wasn’t my time to go and I am all well now 🙂

During my 4 battles with cancer, and running awesomedc.com blog from my hospital bed, referring to our 2 minutes video on our FAQ page, I also managed to launch my 3rd DC based social media startup, awesomize.me to help you and ur business:

a) To put a leash on your your social media channels by distinguishing your quality vs. quantity fans, friends, clients, and followers leveraging the power of rating by your trusted peers and others!

b) To market yourself, your expertise, your business, and your solution offerings more effectively to the right audience!

Now that I’m all well, I’d appreciate if you all would return a small favor to create your personal profile, business, and solution offerings pages on awesomize.me and spread the word by sharing your awesomize.me pages with as many as  you can and ask them to awesomize (rate) your pages 🙂 till we start making more $$$ to hire our in house marketing team 🙂 All the budget I had allocated for our marketing effort, went toward the cost of my 4 cancer treatments 😦

President Obama and Mayor Gray! Please, don’t forget my red carpet next time I’am coming to DC 🙂
