Here is another app that helps you to exchange business card information faster during the networking events. Unlike Bump and Mingle360 that require you to either bump  your iPhones and  show off  your  sticks,  with this one, you just need to scan the business cards via a new iPhone app called WorldCard Mobile.

The new app developed by Penpower, is a business card scanning application for iPhone that uses OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology to instantly transfer information from a business card to the user’s contacts. Read more of this post

No mention of the release date for MAC OS yet. So. Those Mac lover, hang in there. Read more of this post

Starbucks Goes Mobile Full Force

As more and more local coffee shops opening up in town with much better coffee including Filter I just covered today, Starbucks has been certainly feeling the heat. Most respondents — 72% in the U.S, 68% in the U.K. — indicated that they check e-mail during their time off. A large percentage of Americans also check e-mail in bed (19%), and while on vacation or during days off (50%). Read more of this post

Filter: My new café to blog from

Next time you are in Dupont Circle area, you got to visit this new coffee shop I recently discovered only a few blocks from where I live.   It just doesn’t look like a typical coffee shop from outside, but wait till you check out the inside.

The splendid little coffee shop called Filter Coffeehouse & Espresso Bar in 20th st between R & S street less than three blocks north of Dupont Circle.  The joint located in what appears to be a former townhouse. Just look extra hard and you’ll see it. Your reward for your diligence? An awesome  cup of coffee, espresso,  and cappuccino. Read more of this post
